Event: The History of Early 3D

The Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment (The MADE) hosted its first exhibit opening on December 3rd. The exhibition, "The History of 3D in Games," will feature nearly twenty 3D video games that were released from 1982-1996, and all of them will be available for play (video preview). This new non-profit museum in downtown Oakland is dedicated to video games and other interactive art. MADE is dedicated to teaching the public how video games are made, and to providing hands-on, playable exhibits examining the history of digital gaming.
